PCL Initialization Generator

This ELP Control Center option is available form several rule assistant options, mainly emulations but also from the ELP_Command generator.

Filling out this form needs at least some knowledge about the printer language PCL from HP.

Any settings may only apply, if the printed data stream does NOT start with an UEL (Esc%-12345X) or a PCL reset command (EscE).
Also note that the command set is added right at the beginning of the data stream. So any settings located behind this initialization may overwrite these initialization settings. The only way to overwrite those items is to set them in an ELP_Command. Most of the commands like orientation, page size, tray behavior etc. are there available as well.

The menu can also be used to set the printer to the correct needed values, and therefore becoming independent from the printers default settings.
