The e-mail monitor service is embedded into the stethos Enhanced Laser Printing system. The software is able to scan any amount of directories for certain data files, which are provided mainly by scanners or digital sender such as the Hewlett-Packard digital copy machine 9065mfp and 9055mfp.
Those files are analyzed by the service tool and if the correct information is found, the document files are sent via e-mail to predefined addresses.
The software is tested with the above mentioned digital copy machines which are able to scan to file using HP DSS Workflow services (must me purchased separately) but not scan to e-mail.
