The next IBS v4.1 (planned release mid Q2/2024) will support IM 370, IM 460 and the withdrawn IBS v3.5 supporting IM C6500 and IM C8000 Java-less. If you need to install IBS v3 (Java-less) on IM C6500 or IM C8000 right now please contact us.

All devices supported by IBS v2.x need to have an additional Java file installed - so having Java VM up and running in the device is a prerequisite to install and run IBS v2. For more information check the IBS Service Manual or the IBS Control Center.

There a lot of functions which are all not officially supported by Ricoh Europe but are build into the product. IBS is a complete rule based printing system, available in the Ricoh printers, as well as on nearly all operation systems. stethos offers also an IBS networked print appliance with LAN-to-LAN or LAN-to-USB (optional parallel port) supporting one print queue per print appliance.
