This function provides the possibility to import into IBS CC any configuration (e.g. an W-ELP configuration file).

Please note

  • Not all ELP command keys are supported by IBS, but about 80% are.
  • You may set ELP into an IBS emulation mode by turning the check box "Dimm mode" in the W-ELP Administration Tab to ON

Import Quicksets

By default IBS CC checks if W-ELP is installed on the same PC and if possible selects automatically the configuration file (e.g. convert.ini). Optionally you also can add a print sample e.g. named In_Data_<DateTime>.prn from the W-ELP debug folder (normally c:\ProgramData\Welp\Debug\<queue name>. You may generate the file using the protocol function or the key Debug_indata=ON in the rule Global.

Configuration file to import Any valid IBS / W-ELP configuration file. Please note that there are compared to W-ELP some limitation on view not supported commands, like PDF generation in an archive or e-Mail distribution.
The major limitation is the available memory for buffering the incoming data stream.
Print sample if avaialble After having downloaded the configuration file it is recommended to test new functionality. Therefor a test file is required, which can be defined here.
Project name A unique file name for the new Quickset project
Project description Any text describing the functionality of the new project. To create a new line press CTRL+ENTER.
Import After project name, description and a valid import file was selected, the new Quickset is defined. The source files are copied into the IBS CC Quickset folder (C:\ProgramData\IBS_CC\QuicksetsCustom) and they are NOT deleted!
As a next step the config file can be downloaded to the selected device in the IBS CC table
